Business park design plan
The QGP perimeter contains 123'659 m² in total, of which around 98'000 m² is for sale. Roads, cycle paths and footpaths, car parks as well as green areas take up the rest of the space. The building area is divided into 26 sites on which a total building volume of 871'996 m³ is possible. A site for a multi-storey car park (to be built later) has been reserved. On three of the sites, there are listed buildings with a volume of 56'096 m³. For the 1912 government grain silo, built by the reinforced concrete pioneer Robert Maillart, there is a study for its renovation into a commercial building with offices, studios, workshops and classrooms. In addition, the silo from Eduard Züblin (1912/13) can be partially used if in a suitable way. Both building monuments should be kept as symbols of Werkmatt Uri.
